Nate isn't just creating spaces, he's crafting functional art from blueprint to reality as Nathan Alan Design’s fearless founder. Beyond his work life, he's an outdoor enthusiast with an impressive home menagerie of chickens, goats, bees, and his loyal four-legged companion Tequila.

Elyse Hand, Office Manager

Operations guru Elyse Hand has kept Nathan Alan Design running smoothly since 2021, coordinating everything from estimates to installations while appreciating the magic of seeing 2D designs become reality. She balances work with quality time with her husband, her adult daughters, and the office-visiting 'Schnoodles.

Kirstin Jenkins, Designer

Since 2014, designer Kirstin Jenkins has specialized in transformational spaces with unexpected custom touches that push the boundaries. Her adventurous spirit translates from work to play, where hiking trails, kayaking, and competitive outdoor activities fill her sun-soaked free time.

Seph Hatley, Designer

Designer Seph Hatley has been creating client-centered spaces since 2020, translating personal style into functional design. Weekend mountain bike trails and outdoor adventures fuel this designer's creativity and passion for simplicity.

Lee Slabaugh, Installer

Installation expert Lee Slabaugh has been connecting with Nathan Alan Design clients since 2007, turning design plans into stunning finished spaces. When not on job sites, this nature lover tends to his farm and hunts for wild mushrooms in his personal woodsy retreat.

Eric Ferrell, Installer

Eric Ferrell brings 15+ years of installation expertise to NAD, finding satisfaction in watching projects evolve from plans to finished spaces. A fitness enthusiast who enjoys skiing and mountain biking, Eric enjoys spending summer days out on the water in the boat he and his wife carefully restored.

Since 2012, Kohl Slabaugh has been delivering installation excellence at Nathan Alan Design, living for the moments when clients first see their transformed spaces. His creative problem-solving skills extend beyond work, where he facilitates group collaboration sessions focused on future-oriented solutions.

We've developed a streamlined process that allows for clear communication, thoughtful design, and personalized attention to your project. From the initial consultation to the final proposal, our team will guide you through each step with transparency and precision, making the journey to your redesigned space as rewarding as the final result.

Step #1

Our process begins with a free consultation. Elyse, our office manager, will schedule your meeting with Nate (owner/lead designer) and either Seph or Kirstin from our CAD design team who will visit your home to assess the space, discuss your vision, and establish a rough timeline for your project.

Step #2

Once we've established a partnership, our team creates initial design drawings tailored to your needs. We'll review these designs together, making any necessary minor adjustments before moving forward with pricing. This collaborative approach ensures we capture your vision accurately before finalizing details.

Step #3

In the final step, we present you with revised drawings and comprehensive pricing. This proposal gives you everything needed to make an informed decision about moving forward with your project. We believe in transparency throughout the process, ensuring you have clarity every step of the way.
